There are many attractions in Snowdonia apart from the breathtaking scenery. There is mountainbiking at the Coed y Brenin forest centre, white water rafting at the national white water centre at Bala, climbing and walking the many surrounding peaks of Snowdonia including Cader Idris which overlooks the town of Dolgellau. There are many Golf courses to choose from including the Royal St Davids at Harlech, Aberdovey and the 9 hole course at Dolgellau.
